    Cummins to CJ motor mounts?

    Pretty much what it says.

4BT Cummins (baby brother to the Dodge Truck's 6BT) into a CJ.

It's been done (the swap) but stuff had to be home fabbed.

    Any ideas on this?

By the way, there is a new site dedicated to Jeep/Diesel swaps.
    www.jeep2diesel.org

    and their forums are:

Well Frank here is the deal at 500ftlbs of torque your mildly built 401 is almost twice as powerfull as a 4tb...and without the diesel smell

Although I am a die hard AMC fan I would entertain the idea and if I had a diesel alying around I could make mounts.......

    Power isn't the main point.

It's about a lot of different issues...check out the site for more insight into the "why's" people have...
