    Clutch cover bolts

I am installing a new clutch and was wondering if there are special bolts to hold down the clutch cover, or will grade 8 bolts work?

Also... should I use lock washers or just locktite?

    Thanks!!

    Tom

When I put the 11" clutch in my CJ, there wasn't enough room to get a wrench or socket over a standard bolt. There are special bolts made for Wagoneers, they kind of look like a header bolt with a tall shoulder. Grade 8 bolts will work as long as there's clearance, if not, special bolts can be found. I got mine at Drivetrain Industries, www.drivetrainindustries.com . They ran about $2 each.

Thanks for the help everyone... I've talked to the folks at the parts stores and they just kind of look at me funny.
