So i have this 401 crank thats going to clean at .030 under

So i have my other 401 crank w/ rods which wont clean up until 30/30 so im wondering what my options are for using it in a 304 or 360 and maybe building a stroker. Any thoughts here? i know we have had a couple of stroker conversations but they always stop short. What is an option since i have a 304 2-360's and a 401 .040 short block. What can i do with the 401 crank and rods in a 304 or 360

    Thanks
    Dusty

Some parts books list .030 for 401 cranks. Some make strokers out of their cranks and go a hell of alot smaller than that. .030 is fine ....need bearings pm me or call me at the shop 651-257-7917... 30 under not a prob.

It will run OK at .030, bearings are available. I was referred to this place:
www.kingbearings.com . The journal is something like 2.248" factory, a .030 cut only makes that 2.218". Some of the stroker guys are using Chevy rods that use a 2.00" journal without problems.
