    Cherokee Chief

Could anyone tell me the wms-wms on a 78 cherokee chief. I searched around ifsj for a while and found to many confilicting things of the axle width ranging from 57"-65"

I am pretty sure all cherokee chiefs were wt?
so should the axle width be about 59" ?

    Thanks for your help

I know the Chiefs were widetrack. The standard Cherokee was 59-60", and the Chief was 4" wider, which would put it at 63-64". I've never measured one to verify.

In general terms - the 2 door Chief was a wide track and the four door Cherokee was a narrow track.
If your after axles, make sure you measure before you buy!
Your right with the 59"to60" measure.
