anti forward cam bushing (button?)

i saw an anti forward cam bushing (button?) on the AM RACING site #B006 for $34 have you used this and would it be a good idea to use? i assume that it would fit the 8600 cam , and your nickle plated timing cover . any ideas thoughts or suggestions would help, i will be in that area to change the cam gear. since it got chewed up. any one know of this?

I HAVE USED THERE BOO6 CAM BUSHING
IT IS A PLASTIC BUTTON THAT
YOU INSTALL ON THE CAM BOLT TO KEEP THE CAM FROM WALKING FORWARD
YOU HAVE TO FILE OR GRIND THE BUTTON TO THE CLEARENCE THAT THEY TELL YOU WITH THE KIT
THE CLEARENCE WOULD BE FROM THE BUTTON TO THE TIMING COVER.

yeah Brad I am willing to bet the brunt of the problem was that casting flash that didnt allow any oil to the gears

There is no need for a cam button on an AMC that operates and is set up correctly using parts that are built correctly. If you are crashing gears and feel you need a cam button you'd be better off tracing the source of your problem then to apply a bandaid (IMO).
A correctly ground cam will not walk forward as it's position is retained by:
1) the correct gear mesh
2) .001 fwd to rear taper on the cam lobes

If you are running a roller cam I suppose that is separate issue.
