I'm a network tech for Lucent Technologies. I do all wiring in my building for voice and data. Everything from copper to fiber optic. I also configure and troubleshoot all the LAN and WAN switches.

For fun, I have the 69 AMX, a 2000 Kawasaki ZRX1100 for carving the mountain curves, and a 77 CJ for rock crawling. I also like to shoot when we get into the back country.

Wish you were near me Bob. Somehow our login and password were changed on our Deifinty GR3 sometime between March 29th and April 2nd, now I can't change the time (day lights savings time). Really sucks for putting in wake up calls at the right time for guests! Been battling with Avaya for them to use their Super Password - but they keep telling me my Sol to# is invalid. Well, I found an IL# last night around 10pm so hopefully that will be enough for them to help me.....

Don't know that I could help you. Avaya manages our G3 too. I have a limited ID that will let me set up and change stations, not much more. Our G3 picks up about 10 minutes a month, rather than address the problem, they just log in and reset the clock (I can't even do that).

Well, I finally found a super cool chick by the name of Colleen who sat on the phone with me for almost 5 hours until we got all of the accounts straightened out. Three days, countless phone calls to tons of companies, and a $200 service charge later I have the password and login changed from avaya. I am also having another master login created for my prefered vendor (MidAtlantic Business Communications) so he can access it if we ever get logged out.

Anywho, the cause of the problem? The person I had trying to change the time was typing the lettel "l" and not the number "1". After a few failed attempts, it blocked everyone out. Anywho, for now on, I'll just do it myself.

PS - United Asset Coverage can kiss my a$$. What a waste of money they are - had to fix this problem on my own (so why do we pay them a service contract??), and when I informed them of my with me having to do their job, the rep on the phone stated to me "Well sir, I am glad that you got that off your chest - anything else I can help you with today?" What a d!ck!!!!

I am a parts specialist at O'Reilly auto parts, been either a mechanic or parts guy, (with the exception of a 6-month stint for Dish Network as an installer) since I was 16. Cars are my hobby and my life, and I love the challenges of being a parts guy where your mixed with farms, construction companies, body shops, racers (we have a dirt track, drag strip, off roaders (AFW and Throttle Down Kustoms, for you Jeep guys, are located here), and derbies in the same town!), and the regular shops. In the spare time I race and run demo derbies to unwind. About to go back into the roundy-rounds and drags, someday I want to be the only guy who has won all three races locally in one year
