    UHMW Polyehtlyene

Anyone know where I can get UHMW Poly, to go between springs in a leaf spring pack?

or is this procedure already done?

    For details on the product:

its extremely soft, you may want to try nylon or acetate (delrin)

Try Laird Plastics. Think there is a branch in Brooklyn Park. Don't have a ph#.

I used to work for a company that made equipment similar to portable cement mixers. We used spur gears machines out of UHMW that saw lots of load & abuse - they actually held up quite well with minimal wear (unless there was an alignment issue!) and required no lube.

However, delrin might give you better results in your application, Not sure, but that may be what most new factory leafs use...I've not heard of UHMW used in spring packs.
Life is best experienced in low gear-low range
