    Dear John,

Further to our conversation today, I am the photo researcher for a
children's book publishing company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am
working on a book on Jeeps that will be part of a series of books
called "Classic Cars." This series will be sold to schools and
libraries for children in grades 2-3. Each book in this series will
be 24 pages long and contain the front cover photo and 9 full-page
images. The size of the books will be 7 5/8" x 7 1/8". We will
require world reproduction rights, all languages and electronic
(Internet) rights for the images. For the Internet usage, we would
like to have the books available in electronic form in order to be
purchased by schools and libraries with online databases. The print
run for this series will be approximately 7,000 and the publication
date is scheduled for January, 2005.

I would like to know if you have any color slides, prints, or
high-resolution digital images that match the following items for
this book. If the images are digital, we would require the
resolution to be at 300 dpi and the size to be 8 x 8 inches.

The Story of the Jeep (book title)
    1) Willys CJ-3, 1950s
    2) Willy CJ-5, 1950s or 1960s
    3) Jeep Wagoneer, 1960s or 1970s
    4) Postal Jeep, or jeep used for fire or police departments
    5) CJ-7, 1980s; or any CJ-style jeep or Wrangler from 1970s, 1980s, or 1990s
    6) action images of off-road driving
    7) 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

If so, would you please contact me and I will give you our UPS
account number for shipment of the images. We would include your
name in the photo credits section at the front of the book. If there
are other people or organizations that you know who might also be
interested in assisting with this project, please let me know.

I would appreciate any assistance you can give me on this project.
Please contact me if you have any questions or need any further
    information.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Best wishes,

Rest easy, I slipped a J-truck in the fire department section for ya..Since my J-10 was the fire department's Emergency response vehicle (and Wildland fire brush rig) which is where I got it.. when they retired the truck I bought it..since I was it's driver on the department sorta like helping your "partner" into retirement.
I also sent her a couple CJ-5 and m38 pics.
