    J20- j2000 axles

    What gear ratio could I expect to find in a mid 70 j-truck with a standerd tranny?

    You asked about mid-70, so I looked at a 75. If you find one you want, let me know the specific year, and I will tell you what my book says.

    J-10 6 cyl - 4.09:1
    8 cyl - 3.54:1

    This won't make sense, but is how it is written

    J-20 all engines 3.73:1
    J-20 option for 360 - 4.09:1

    Thanks, I thought I found a set in a junkyard but found out the rear axle is gone
