(I need info now) More Gauge Questions

Well I pulled my gauge cluster out and the people that had my 1975 Wagoneer before me did a bang up job screwing it up. All pins have been broken off and there are some burn spots on the board. A very smart person would throw it out a head to Pick & Pull. But not me I’m going to save this poor thing. Or at least give it a good try. Can any one tell me the min. gauge wire I have to use? I have a piece of 18- 20 gauge ribbon wire that has 10 wires in it but that might be too small. Or I’ll just use 14 and label each wire because I only have red & black.

Well I wired it all up and threw it all back into place and it all worked except my light that tells me I’m in emergency 4X4 (the switch in the glove box) It is the light on the top right hole. http://www.zmjeeps.com/unobtanium.php In the pic you can see better. And the fasten Seat Belt light comes on dim when the Dash lights are off, but when you turn Dash lights on, it goes off. Do yours work this way?
