    Does ANYBODY out there know where a person could get 401 main & rod bearings in .001 ? I have been searching high and low!

    We've used King bearings in other applications and they worked fine.

    Thats what I've been told too. But I was told to get a set and they could be coated to what ever they needed to be.

    I managed to find +.001" bearings for my 360, but for only $50 more, I had the crank turned .010" under, and the price included Clevite bearings.

    Performance American Style still lists ACL bearings in a .001". You might give them a call to see if they still really exist.
