    hmmm can you get one from a TJ or cherokee...I think the cherokee dana 44 would be a good candidate if you had the brackets

    Yep, the XJ 44 is a good one to build, I have the brackets on my 35. Thats a bit of work to get right. Thats why Currie charges $500 to do the TJ and ZJ rear.
    I am going to see what it will cost to have Shuppe's 4X4 build an XJ 44 for my ZJ, using my brackets, or use the GW 44 I have and try it myself. The GW D44 is a bit narrower than the 35 thats in the Jeep, and a few people have told me its not worth the trouble using the GW axles. Everything else I own has 6 on 5.5, why not the ZJ!?

    Too bad you aren't closer to Seattle! I have one for $50 still in the '93 GC I am parting!
