    1975 CJ-5 Fuel Gauge Hookup

    Hey Everyone

I am installing a new sending unit and gas gauge in my Jeep finally...

I have spent the last 5 years simply shaking the Jeep with the Gas Cap off to listen for fuel inside...

Lots of sloshing = All the way to town and back

Little or no sloshing = Start looking for a gas station

    Anyways...

I am looking at the back of my new gas gauge and want to know what wires go where before I fry it like the last gauge.

Yep, John's been working on that page for a year, or so now. I think combined with John Fautz's: CJ Sender and Gauge Diagnostics page that you've got all the resources to diagnose and repair any CJ gauge problem.

got a YJ fuel sender issue (maybe more now that the shop tried to 'hook up' stuff under the dash without looking at what they were connecting)
