I just wanted to drop a note to tell you that you have a great site here full of great info
This is my 1968 AMX 390 Go Package, I currently am having the engine rebuilt and if anybody could let me know of an engine paint that is readily available that is close to the factory AMC blue, I would greatly appreciate it.

In 67-68 they used a color very close to the "caravelle blue" body color. A paint shop can mix it, it doesn't have to be "high temp", it wasn't from the factory. From 69-74?, they used the more greenish color that is Seymour EN-66. I see it in spray cans on ebay, or you can get it at any automotive shop or www.eastwoodco.com .

Thanks alot for the info Bob, I had talked to a paint rep the other day and he told me I could use a urethane paint, so I think that is what I will do.
