Rebiult pump, but now adapter is leaking.

I got my new gears and spring and got it installed, I used the thinner gasket. Good news! I have fabulous oil pressure

But, the adapter is leaking now
Has there been problems with using the thinner gasket and leaks? I had everything very clean when going together. I don't know what's wrong now, it didn't leak before.

In case anybody cares, I replaced the thin gasket with the other one (the thicker one) and it stopped teh leak. Don't know why the thin gasket leaked.

Did you have a new pump and oil filter adaptor?

Might have been warped just enough to allow a bigger gap thanthethinner gasket could take up

Yeah, probably. But, the oil pressure is great now, and I don't have any leaks so I am not going to worry about it for now.
