You can get Offenhauser valve covers new from Summit Racing for about $200. P/N 5773

Rumor has it that Edelbrock will re-release their classic finned cover in the fall. It's listed in their 2005 catalog.

You can get a couple of different styles from Omix-Ada.

You can get the same ones from Quadratec.

I heard MC here had cast a couple of prototypes. When will they go into production MC?

There was also a guy over at www.amcforums.com who had the welded sheet aluminum style for sale.

We have several coming form edelbrock but they are on backorder at the moment. The omix ada's are decent and we are thinking about doing a buyin with them. As far as Bulltear aluminum covers.....well our casting guy pulled his last hair out and bailed on the job so we are seeking new casting houses for the project

I have a set of the old Edelbrocks on my CJ and on my AMX, both are over rocker rollers, with no clearance problems. If the new ones are cast the same, they should clear. They AREN'T tall enough for rocker girdles though.

MC - What's the price going to be on the new Edelbrocks?

    After seeing this................
    http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_..._classic.shtml
I called Edelbrock to find out more info. The guy I talked to said they aer right now in tooling, and shold be released in a month or so. And that although the ones for the AMC does not state the hieght, they will be higher than what they used to be (probabl e able to clear rollr rockers). He said retail will be about $240 (IIRC).

So I looked at Summit, I couldn't believe what I saw, so I ordered it.

I know they are not availble yet, but they have them listed, and a ship date of 8-15. For that price I will wait. Hope I didn't stir the pot :D
