Well after too much research I think A 350 and and a 700r4($$$ ) won't hold up. Also gunna have to wait a few more months to get my jeep account back up.

Just depleated it in the form of edelbrock heads, Harland sharp rollers, and a port and polish.

Motor has 9.8cr speed pro forged pistons .40 over, 272 dur cam(dont have card in front of me), airgap, 750 holley DP, and Edyl heads.

So I havn't been able to find much on build up specs for the 727. How expensive/hard will it be to hold up to my motor? I think I might be close to 400 horses.

I'll be taking a few trips to the salvage yard and I'll keep an eye out for a 727, but I already have a amc t400. Problem is that it has a quadratrack. Does anyone know if I can order a shorter output shaft so I can bolt up my dana 20? Where?

So come probably early febuary there will be a amc 400 with a trans brake and high stall Should do well on sand, street, and mud drags
