We're going hunting in 2 week Hope to get a big Bull Elk There 3 going My son and a good friend . camp out in the snow for a week ride the horse's.
Derek just bought a 300 short mag.

We'll be going in about 3 weeks. Just bought a new 30-06 gotta try it out
Snow - river fordings - muddy trails - cold ass deer stands - hiking though wet fields - hot food - cold beer - cold ass deer stands - muddy trails - river fordings - cold ass deer stands - snow - cold beer -and did I mention no women to complain!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am back from a week a of camping in the snow It was a good trip we only got one elk we had a great plan but it fell a part at the last minuet Derek sat down and on the snow down the hill he went and awhile went the elk. When the shooting stop the work began. It was a cow we had hair tags I shot a two bulls.
Derek bought a 300 short mag got it shooting good week before we left he won a 300 win. mag. maybe he think of dad and his old 30-06.
It was fun 4x4 Derek dodge he took the tire and wheels, they are 8 lugs, off of his jeep 37 toyo mud after we air down it did real well. We we,re in 3 feet of snow I had picture but I think I lost them today with all my computer skills I hope not.
