Questions about timing cover I bought...

Hi, I bought the Ni timing cover and oil filter adapter plate. My old cover was for a '74, where you install the seal from the back side, and the fuel pump mounted with the inlet and outlet ports pointed down. Can I install my old fuel pump on this new cover pointed up? I haven't had a chance to take a look at it to see if it would work. Also, I'm assuming the new cover has the type of seal that can be installed from the front? Thanks!

No you install the seal from the rear and its the same seal. Yes you can use either type of fuel pump on any AMC timing cover.
