    360 valve spring/retainer question

I recently installed a new cam in my 360. I also had the heads done but the new springs are way off intake to exhaust in installed height. The original springs were diffrent lengths and exhaust had a rotator. Also intake is a 3/8 stem and exhaust is 11/32. The actual lock grooves sit at diffrent heights also. Do I still need to get 2 diffrent length springs, diffrent retainers, or even change out some valves to fix this? Any help would be great.

Sounds like someone installed a chevy valve for the exhaust

I went back and checked my old retainers and the inside bore where the lock sits are diffrent sizes also. The best I can figure is I am going to have to run 2 diffrent bore retainers. The spring manufacturer is telling me 73 and 74 ran 2 diffrent sized valve stems like this? If I'm on the wrong track here please let me know! thanks

I beleave there were some heads that used the 11/32 stems it had to do with the rotators
