    Parting Out my CJ7 Project Updated 3/24

    1977 CJ7

    Dash pad - fair condition, some rust on the back side of it - $40

    Windshield Hinges - black - 2 years old - $10

    Axles - $700
    Scout 44's
    --front pumpkin turned to t case and 5 degrees caster added
    --front brakes have less than 3K miles
    --new rear drum brake pistons
    --stainless brake lines front and rear, new hard lines on rear axle
    --Set up for spring over
    --3.08 Gearing
    --Rear is Lincoln locked

    Steering box stabilizer - $40

    15X10" Steel wheels included (Sold my 33"s) - $50

    15X7? Stock CJ wheels and dry rotted tires - $20

    Sunrider softtop - $200

    1977 Hard Doors - fair condition with a light tint job - $250

    New hood (not installed yet) - $50

    New tailgate (Not installed yet - small dent on top corner lip) - $35

    Good condition passenger fender - $25

    new mechanical oil pressure and volt gauges - $25

    Steelhorse center console - black - $25

    Excellent condition grill with hood lock to replace rust pitted one that is on there currently, includes headlights and chrome rings - $75

    Windshield was vandalized and broken (Stinks b/c it was brand new!!)

    Poor condition low-back seats - free

    Good seat frames - $50

    Disassembled AMC 401 - $1200
    --stock crank, rods, pistons
    --block has had the inside water passages pressure washed out, ready for the hot tank
    --New oil valley kit from Performance AM Style
    --new full Felpro gasket kit
    --new Edelbrock Performer cam
    --new Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm carb with offroad needles and seats kit installed
    --new Edelbrock Performer timing chain
    --new Edelbrock 14" chrome air cleaner with spacer
    --new Edelbrock Performer intake - non EGR
    --new Bulltear oil filter relocation kit
    --new Bulltear inspected timing chain cover and gears
    --new Edelbrock Performer Valve Springs and locks
    --I threw out the valves but one exhaust and intake so you can see what condition they were in
    --new stock pushrods
    --new Bulltear cam and distributor gears
    --engine is bare - does not appear to have been bored yet, but have not been to machine shop yet to verify (stock pistons)
    ---- Stock Motorcraft ignition system with new spare Motorcraft module
    ----Distributor
    ----Spark Plug Wires
    ----Spark Plugs
    --Stock Exhaust Manifolds
    --Belts

    Custom 115 Amp alternator – made from all new parts - $150

    MSD off road ignition with optional rev limiter - $200

    MSD Blaster 2 Coil - $20

    401 flywheel - $80

    Grandwaggy 727 - condition unknown - $200
    --new Locar kickdown cable
    --B&M Mega shifter - a little dry rotted on the boot from the sun
    --Bulltear shifter handle (might have to keep this though!) - says "401"
    --new 401 to 727 flexplate

    Shortened front driveshaft to use as a rear shaft in order to be able to keep the Jeep in park - brand new u joints. - $30

    Stock swing out tire mount has modified to raise it a couple of inches for larger tires - worked great for years - $40

    New gas tank and sending unit $75

    2.5" Rear tow hitch - $25

    Radiator – Only about 3000 miles usage - $65
    --Includes upper and lower hoses

    Wiring harness from my previous CJ - $200
    --Includes Alpine alarm system with motion sensor already installed

    I also have a cleaned up heater unit for a later model CJ7 with a brand new heater core and the upgraded Chevy motor upgrade - $60

    It's about 2.5 hours south of me. I am just north of atlanta by about 20 miles. Shoo, I am sure we can find some cheap shipping company for my baby! I'd love to see you slap a 671 on her!!

    AMC 401 Parts

    You probaly will want to sell the engine complete with all you have listed but I might be able to use these parts:

    new Bulltear inspected timing chain cover and gears

    new Bulltear cam and distributor gears

    New oil valley kit from Performance AM Sty

    Know this is a fair price on your engine looking at what I have invested in mine and I have a lot less parts.
    No CJ's left. 1968 AMC = long term.

    jack would you want to sell just the block / crank / rods

    best ever 11.669 @ 112.33 mph in 1/4 mile on 33 x 10.50 slicks and 4" lift / 7.358 @ 93.03 mph in the 1/8 mile
