    AMC 360 10:1 Compression - Stock Head??

Newbie here but I read new posts twice a day learning every day but I have a dilemma I can't seem to find an answer for. I have an AMC 401 block, standard bore that will have to go to .030 and seeing a set of slightly used TRW 10:1 pistons on ebay I thought I had a great find but now I'm really questioning it.

Question is - Can I use these 10:1 pistons with a stock head from a 1972 head with the 58cc combustion chamber, studded rockers? Know they will fit but am I looking for trouble?

    So far I have:
    Good 401 block - 1975
Forged crankshaft machined @ .010 under
    Connecting Rods
1972 Heads with the 58cc +/- combustion chamber, studded rockers
    Edelbrock Performer Intake
Cam Bearing from Bulltear - .201 hole mod
No Cam or Carb selected yet
Will have Bulltear timing cover/oil pump unit.

Documenting this as I go and as soon as I have more than a pile of parts I'll post the progress. Appreciate any advice.

3212993-1 For the earlier heads, also have 2 sets of 3231475 on 360's.

Pistons are TRW L2380 on the actual piston, .030 over.
