    NEW CAM IN OLD ENGINE

    WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT PUTTING NEW CAM IN 360 WITH 100000 MILES ON IT RUNS GREAT DOESN'T SMOKE ALSO PUTTING NEW OIL PUMP, INTAKE, AND VALVE SPRINGS ON IT. THANKS BY THE WAY ANYONE RECOMMEND GO TIMING CHAIN THANKS

    If you've got the engine out, I'd also suggest changing the cam bearings. Roughly 30% of the AMC engines I've torn down have had some damage to the bearings if they're still factory. Some with only 60-70K miles on them. Bad cam bearings can cause some real oil pressure headaches.

    what brand timing chain ?

    what brand timing chain and what do I need to look at far as for oiling passage on chain
