    Driveshaft Question

I am ready for driveshafts in my project. I have a TF727/Dana300 setup. I have a dodge dana 60 in front and a gm 14 bolt in back. NOW......How do I go about setting up d-shafts for this thing. I know I have very little clearance between the 300 and 727. So some big cardigan thing aint gonna get it. What info do I need to put together to get these built or found. Thanks.

Their are alot of ways to go...you can use a pillow block at the end of your skid plate and a cv from there or a strait shaft small on one end big on the other

jeepsr4ever, I have read alot of your posts and Im really in total awe of the knowledge you have about these vehicles! With that said and MY dunce cap firmly in place, what the H-e-double hockeysticks is a pillow block??? And I have no skid plate (that I'm aware of anyway), but knowing I can use smaller ends as a possibility is very kewl. So I'll investigate that avenue first. Thanks for taking time. oh ya wanna explain a pillow block?

Basically you take a stubby driveshaft and run it to a pillow block (A mounted bearing) and then run a 2nd driveshaft to the front axle. Sometimes referred to as a 2piece driveshaft.

    Driveshaft

Also Known as a hanger bearing. Used on bigger trucks, some vehicles with manual trannies.
