I know I know, but nobody else I have come across seems to have much interest in or ability to manufacture such a part.
This was a plan for an AMX/Jav drop plate. It bolts between the knuckle and spindle. I believe it was made out of 1/2" plate, and secured with grade 8 hardware. I think the drop was in the 2" to 3" range.

I have read about this and may go with something like it. As I understand it they used something like that on some of the factory sponsored T/A cars Penske was running in the early 70s...
