I'm wanting to put an automatic in my CJ5 and I need to know which Trans will bolt up to my t-176 to Dana 300 adapter? I have read that a 727 that was bolted up to a 208 will work. How about out of an eagle? Quadratrc?

The 727 will work but look for a 999 from a CJ, it is a shorter trany being that your doing this in a 5. Also they have a lower 1st gear 2.72 vs 2.48. You could proably use one from a YJ or Eagle just make sure the output is a 23 spline.

Hey thanks!! The eagle have a QT transfer case? Isn't it a NP129? do they have a linger output shaft or would it be the same?

The NP129 would be a single speed T-case and I have no knowledge on them.
