    401, 727, CJ parts....

    Well I need to finish cleaning out my garage and here is what I have left:

    *401 - Disassembled block, heads, crank, edelbrock performer cam, misc parts
    *115 amp custom made alternator for AMC V8
    *Edelbrock performer intake and 600cfm carb w/ off road kit, 14" dropped airfilter - 20 minutes use
    *Slightly used radiator (about one years use with a 304)
    *TF727 - condition unknown
    *B&M Mega shifter - used in my CJ for the TF727
    *Lokar kickdown cable AMC V8 to TF727
    *CJ7 Hard doors - red with lightly tinted windows
    *2 Flowmasters - 2.5 inlet centered in and out - surface rust and used
    *CJ exhaust manifolds AMC V8
    *Scout 44's setup for spring over, caster added (comes with "wagon" style wheels wheels)
    *CJ7 Gas tank/sending unit - couple years old, stock style, comes with factory skid, used for about 2 years
    *New CJ hood
    *Used CJ hood
    *33" BFG Mudterrain - old style - brand new on 15X10 wheel w 5on5.5 bolt pattern

    Also have stock CJ seat frames with worn out low back seats as well as a BestTop Sunrider soft top for a CJ7 for sale.

    what are you asking for the block and what bore is it ?

    best ever 11.669 @ 112.33 mph in 1/4 mile on 33 x 10.50 slicks and 4" lift / 7.358 @ 93.03 mph in the 1/8 mile

    1978 AMC 401 - $500.00
    Disassembled and ready for machining and rebuild
    Block has had the inside pressure washed out
    Includes the following parts:
    *Block
    *Crank
    *Rods
    *Pistons (need to be replaced)
    *Heads (no valves or springs)
    *Edelbrock Performer (all only 20 minutes use):
    ***Performer Intake
    ***600 CFM Carb
    ***14" Airfilter
    ***Cam/Lifters
    ***Timing Chain
    *New push rods
    *All original engine bolts
    *Water pump (used - should be replaced)
    *Accessory Brackets and Bolts

    I also have a:
    *Bulltear oil filter relocation kit for $75 still new in the box.
    *115 Amp high output alternator - $75 (Paid over $250 new)
    *CJ Style exhaust manifolds - $35
    *Flowmasters - $50 for both (2.5" inlet and outlet centered)
    *Radiator - $50

    Things I have already sold but you will need to replace:
    Timing chain cover and gears
    Valves
    Valve springs
    Distributor and wiring
    Distributor gear and cam gear


    Hood $75.00
    Hood $10.00
    Seat Frames - $50.00
    Tire/Rim - $100

    Dana 44's - Scout II - $450 - Same for what I paid for them, except I put a lot of work into them. :)
    *Spring over
    *5 degrees caster added
    *Slightly used new front discs and calipers - used for ~3000 miles on my CJ on the stock dana 30, swapped them to the 44.
    *3.08 gears - Bears and seals have seen better days
    *Rear is lincoln locked
    *Rear drum brakes - have new hard lines installed and brake cylinders still in bags
    *I would reweld the rear perches - ran out of flux core and mig welded on gas - welder wasn't big enough to penetrate correctly - easy 30 minute fix.

    Soft top - $125
    Black Sunrider - couple brackets are bent but can be fixed easily.

    Hard doors - $120
    Red - older style (not paddle style)
    Red paint, black interior trim, tinted windows

    Steel Gastank/pickup tube/hoses ~3 years old/1977 skid - $80

    CJ Brackets - $50
    CJ brackets are the kind that allow the passenger to flip forward, but the drivers does not. The drivers does slide forwards and back on a track though. Remind me tomorrow and I'll take some pics for ya!

    Lokar kickdown cable - $20

    B&M Shifter - $50
    Comes with Bulltear shifter handle that says 401 CJ7

    TF727 - Condition unknown, selling for price paid - $50

    Do you still have the original shifter handle for the B&M shifter, if so, I'll take it. Right away. I might like the Flowmasters as well.
