    TF727 D20

I am picking up another CJ, it comes with a rebuilt 0 mile tf727 that is bolted to a Dana 20. What would this have been out of? I didn't know the 727 bolts to D20s

Got in contact with the builder of the tranny, this is what he told me

"its a wagoneer case with scout2 guts and adapter. makes the strongest and shortest set up available. we used them in sand drag cj5s"

Looks like the builder answered your question; it's out of a Scout II. Sounds like a great set-up.

Paul, if you run across another 727 for a D300, I'm still looking. Found a T400/20 set up in FL, but really don't want to lose the 4:1 in the 300
