    Drill & tap 69 block head bolts to 1/2 inch?

    Anybody ever do this? How hard is it/what would a machine shop charge?

    I want to go turbo with a '69 390 but the 7/16" bolts are a bit on the small side.

    I did it a long time ago it was a pain but it worked probably not worth paying a shop to do it but that is going to be your $$$
