    Ford roller rockers?

Well I am finally starting to put my 401 together and getting ready to buy some roller rockers. I was told that sbf is the same, is this true? I also want to send my heads back and and have them machined for 3/8 studs {missed that before}, is there anything else I am missing? I was also told to order guide plates and hardend pushrods. Thanks Richard

If going to stud mounted rockers why not get 7/16" studs ?
If they were bridged rockers heads, yes, hardened pushrods,
and pushrod guide plates are needed.
Be careful, some guide plates are made with an incorrect center distance.
Harland Sharpe offers some nice roller rockers for AMC's
in both 3/8 and 7/16 stud sizes.
The HS Part number is S4004-7 for 7/16 studs.
They also offer bolt on bridged type roller rockers.

MC has posted that AMC rocker arm lengths are same as Ford,
and the Chevy lengths are actually a little shorter.

Not sure if the pushrod slots in the bridged heads need opened up or not ?
