Bearing cap hole

I'm concerned about this bolt hole for the bearing cap:


Here is a higher view so you can see the other bolt hole:


Here is the other side of the diff.. looks normal:


Does that bearing cap bolt hole pose a problem.. looks like a well placed hit with a screw driver could puncture the bolt hole. Only wondering because if this 44 is junk, I'll focus my efforts on building the rear like I want it and just find another front.
