    Since we still don't have our engine back, I could easily snap a couple pics of our motor mounts all set up on the frame, if that would help you out.

    You do need the CJ specific block mounts. The Wagoneer mounts will be too short. CJ block mounts are square, the Wagoneer mounts more triangular.

    My concern is that I have the wrong block mounts????? But your pic may help if it includes the block mounts bolted up....(frame, bracket, motor mount, then block mount)

    THATS the problem. I have the triangluar waggy block mounts!

    So are the CJ block mounts "closer" to the block?

    Those are definitely Wagoneer block mounts. The CJ style are square, with the front and back edges straight up/down. The CJ style are taller, so the engine sits higher in the frame.

    Thanks for all the help. Now I just need to locate the block mounts. Someone responded to my wanted ad...I think he wanted $65 plus shipping.
