    Dodge axle question

    The advice there sounds about right. Starting in about 2002-2003 Dodge got thier axles from AAM - American Axle MFG. May want to check the year of yours and look around.

    Thanks ya sir. The axle in question is out of a '79. After considerable research it appears i can use pretty much any 10b or chevy D44 outers on this thing.
    I want to keep this pair of axles mainly because the rear is a D60 and they are geared where i want them....so im willing to put some effort into the front 44 to make the combo work.
