Yeah the #4 Exhaust Lobe is about half gone and lifter cupped about 1/8"

All 15 other Lifters look fine.
Probably about 2 hours total run time.
Old Cam & New Hyd. Lifters, Cam Lube, Rotella-T
25 minutes at 2000+ rpms on first start
Crane double valve springs, #120 closed - ~315 open
Pushrod length looked good, pattern centered on valve stems.
Did change oil to 10w30 after break-in with EOS added to it.

    Lookin' at a 95k '87 Wagoneer 360 today, $300

Was something I found humorous here, thought it better to remove it

So if I can feels "things" on some journals with a fingernail the crank needs attention right ?

    re

If you can feel irregularities with your fingers a polishing is in order if possible.

    good luck!

Well motor is completely apart and crank is out.

Just hope it will polish up ok and not need ground.

Guess I should have block tanked and new cam bearings too right ?

Be a good idea to make sure all the pieces parts are washed out. Wouldn't hurt to cross dill the crank and chamfer the holes before you polish it again.

Crank polished up ok, was already cross drilled and chamfered before.
Have new rod and main bearings.
Have hand lapped oil pump cover smooth.
    Have new cam and lifters.
Have used Brake Clean, compressed air, and brushes on block.
Should have everything ready to start re-assembly.
But first need to figure out a medical issue which has came up.
Not sure, but may have gall stones, sonagram tomorrow 7:45am

Doing better ....... since my doc game me some good pain killers

Sonogram gram showed only "a few small stones and some sludge"
and did not give a specific count or sizes but at least no "biguns".
Was relieved though to find out it wasn't anything "major".
Past couple days have done better and no pain pills for 36 hours so far.
Hopefully a change to a better diet will be all I need.
There's stuff out on the web about how to do a "galbladder flush".
Not sure if there's a need to go to that extreme yet or not.
Thanks for asking, hope the back is doing better,
threw mine out also for the first time at xmas 2005.
Man I didn't need this right now, over 40 and fallin' apart
Kinda like the ol' AMX - Ha !
