CS 144 and Bull Tear Alternator Bracket (w/pics) on AMC 360

I'm installing a CS144 on a AMC 360 using the Bull Tear Alternator Bracket.

I got the main bracket on with no problem:

However the bottom isn't close enough to force it to line up:

Has anyone done this install? Can anyone lend any advice?

    Just bend it

I don'thave a good suggestion, I didn't get a lower bracket when I got my ALT set up so I took some 1/4 plate and all thread and made one

OBTW there is a thread on this in the ALT Bracket for a CSI pump < link ...

Cool set-up. I'd be interested in one of these . Let me know how it works out.

With my present set-up when I tighten my alternator it gets skewed at an angle and ends up squeling like a banshee after a few days..................Jode

Jode, when it's adjusted right it works really well and keeps the alignment nicely
