    Valley Pan Gasket - What's Diff about '73 360 2V 604N22

    Noticed in Summit Catalog AMC Valley Pan Fel-Pro #MS96011

    it says all AMC V8 290-304-343-360-390-401

    Except 1973 360 2 barrel code 604N22

    so what's different about a '73 360 2 barrel ?

    That's weird. That looks like a valve cover tag #.

    604N22

    6 = 1973
    04 = April
    N = 360 2BBL
    22 = 22nd day

    So this would be a 2 BBL 360 built April 22nd, 1973. So it would be a very specific engine it wouldn't fit. I've never heard of anything different on any AMC engine. Someone probably complained, and that was the only info they had.
