    alright just got off the phone with holley tech (ricky's out sick today). described to the guy what it looks like inside, he said they had some casting issue a while back. anyway there gonna send a new carb out today, they sai to hold on to the one i have, and he'll check but they "might just have me take a hammer to it"
    doing a frame off, 401/727t/f art carr manule valve body,fiberglass body,4.5 R.E lift, 456 gears locked f/r, 35" crawlers. UPS is helping build it

    best ever 11.669 @ 112.33 mph in 1/4 mile on 33 x 10.50 slicks and 4" lift / 7.358 @ 93.03 mph in the 1/8 mile

    looked a lot like styrofoam beads in there. Definately not a good thing but if ur getting a new carb out of the deal I'd be pretty happy myself.
