Well, I am still waiting to go get my donor truck for the NP205 and 12 bolt rear for the J10.

But I hope this quick and dirty little modification will help the QT's low range hold out for a pull at this years fair.

Welded some nuts on the back side of the plate that broke loose last year...hoping that the nuts will prevent the plate from spinning around as they rest on the boss in the bottom of the low range case.

I will run alittle less wieght this year also and start out in first instead of shifting to first when the sled gets heavy. Should be slow going but it'll be loud as I run the mufflers uncapped.

Once again I would guess I'll have the only AMC powered truck at the pull.
Can't wait to get the the NP205 and the stroker crank set-up!! Then we'll see the chevy boys

Have a new chain and rebuilt dif in the case...any bets on what else will let go? Rear driveshaft? Front or rear dif? Low range again?

I'll install the trany blanket this time just for safety
