    6 banger heads

    Can someone please let me know if this head will fit a late 70's/early 80's 258?

    Head changed in 80 IIRC and the way I tell is looking at the valve cover area on the head you should see no tapped holes for the cover. Pre 1980 had a finned side on the passenger side of the valve cover and also had all the holes tapped for valve cover bolts.
