Front axle shafts and rear driveshaft for J10

I'm looking for the front axle shafts for a 1982 J10. Also looking a rear driveshaft for the same. V-8, 727, long wheel base (131")

    Thanks,

    Drive shaft

If you collapse the yoke, what is the total length? I have a bunch from various Jeeps.

I wish I knew, as the driveshaft wasn't there. We're converting the truck, which was a 6 cyl/3spd to a 360/auto. I do know it's one of the 4" diameter shafts that the LWB trucks used.

If you need the length yet I have a 82 J20 at the shop in St Paul with a 360/727/208 but it does have a 60 in the rear vs your 20. I might have a spare set of front shafts too.

I went to Kaj's yesterday to work on the truck, and measured the yoke distance. They measure 60" center-to-center. of course I have one shaft that's 55" and one that's 65". Still looking for front axle shafts.

mrtazwrench, I tried the link, but server was not found.

    Driveshaft length

Just so we understand, with the slip joint compressed the distance from the u joint center cap center to cneter is 60 inches?

It's 60" between the TC yoke and the rear end yoke. The drive shafts I have, when the slip yoke is extended about 60%, one is 55" and the other is 65". I may just take the longer one and have it shortened.

Still looking for front axle shafts for this truck. We had a rear driveshaft made.

Driver's side shaft is 27.6" OAL
    Passenger side is 44" OAL

Does not have the vacuum disconnect axle

The following vehicles use the same axles:

    1980-1983 Cherokee Chief (wide-track)
    1980-1986 J10/ J20

1974-1979 axles and Wagoneer axles won't work.

    Thanks,

    Tom
