This month's HOT ROD Magazine features a 1976 AMC Pacer that participated in this year's Hot Rod Powertour.
It's owners have name their ride, "Purple X"
It's a HOT Pacer X powered by a 295hp 4.5L I6 stroker and backed by a 700R4.
It has a lot of subtle custom work done and looks awesome.
What makes the topic sorta scary/spooky was I was just talking to the wife about dropping a hot 360 in a Pacer or a Gremlin.
Then, I showed her this article in Hot Rod Magazine.
She hates the looks of a Gremlin, but thought this purple Pacer was something she could drive around.
She even mentioned how she would need to shut down a Camaro or Mustang! hehehe
