    wheel spacers?

does anyone use these on a daily driver are they safe for high way use?
I would like to widen the track on my cj wide track, is this a safe option?
what are your opinions and do you use them?

Wheel spacers are safe as long as they are a high quality piece. look for billet aluminum not cast and look for ones that come with new studs. I would try to limit the size to under 1.5 inches as any more tends to put a lot of stress on wheel bearings and studs and will cause them to wear quicker. A good wheel spacer is just as safe as a good set of rims with less backspacing while doing the same thing for less.
