getting ready to scrap the J10 with the 258 in it, if you think an 80 would have the correct ones let me know what you could give for them, would need to dissasemble motor, possably pull it out first.

Getting ready to list a set on Ebay if you haven't found these yet.
Has the number 707 on one side of the rods and 237 on the other. From 1979 CJ7 AMC 258 105,000 miles. Standard pistons are still attached.
$20.00 plus cheapest shipping I can find to another Jeep guy that isn't going to resell them. Can have pistons removed at Machine Shop, possible there won't be any charge.
Thinking about this a minute - is there a difference in 258 and 232 rod lenghts - hate to send the wrong ones if this engine had been swapped.
No CJ's left. 1968 AMC = long term.
