The ford 400 is a pig.. has a huge stroke, made 158HP Stock.. even a compression bump probably hasn't helped since the heads flow like crap.. I would find another 360 and do some mild work on it.. or a 401

my opinion but the Jeep itself looks awesome.

same thing i said dave......this motor has the Aussie? heads which are the better of stock heads i guess....at 4 inches its got one hell of a stroke but i thought he shoulda kept the amc and ran the TF727......but aint my money, aint my worry i guess

The Aussie heads are okay, but the Edelbrock's flow way better and have a smaller chamber.. overall though without a good intake and cam and de-stroke..and (many ands here) its still a pig..

But yeah I hear ya.. not your money not your problem.. although in a way I bet that does bug ya ;)

haha you know it.....i was kinda happy at first when he yanked it cause i was gonna get the 360, trans, transfer, d-shafts, 4inch lift springs, and frt and rear axles for 200 bucks.....considering he only paid 200 for the whole damn thing But i dunno what his prob is and now he wont sell so thats why i was looking at Dave's 360 until financial issues popped up
