Actually the on-road handling is more "Shock critical" than the off road.. (ok for most of us) But I would say the monroe sensatracs or any of the aftermarket adjustables.. Unless you have lifted/big tires.. then you are going to need a stiffer/larger shock to control the added unsprung weight.

i went back to the dealer when I replaced shocks on the Grand when I owned it. I tried the sensatracks and was disappointed. The worn one's were better.
I recently replaced the shocks on my truck with Monroe Reflex
and I'm impressed as to how it smoothed things out.
