    Q Trac Speedo Gears?

I seem to having a problem finding new speedo gears for a T-400 w/q-trac. I switched from 3.53's to 4.10's and added 33 inch tires. I was told I needed a 34 tooth speedo gear to correct the speedometer.

Everytime I inquire locally I get blank stares or they try to sell me gears for the Chrysler tranny.

Also, I haven't taken my stock gear out yet, is it a hassle to change the speedo gear in a q-trac?

    Thanks!

The gear is quite easy to remove but getting a new one is all but impossible. I tried to locate one when I went to 33" tires on my 73 J4000 with 3.73s. The change in tire diameter caused my speedo to be off 20%. The only solution may be to get an inline "converter". It is a small cylinder that goes inline to your speedo cable to adjust for taller tires/different gearing without changing the speedo gear.
