    Welcome to Bulltear!

To swap from a I-6 to V-8, on the frame side you only need to replace the passenger side. You do need the CJ specific engine brackets for both sides.

If your budget allows, I strongly suggest the Bombproof mounts from M.O.R.E. ( www.mountainoffroad.com ). Way better than stock.

    and not have it.

Thanks for the welcome, tufcj.I've been reading this site for a year and learning what I can. And yes those mounts are probably the best you can get but I'm trying to hold my cost down. I won't be driving my jeep hard, just around town. Thanks again.

so which mount did you need? I just replaced mine with the M.O.R.E. bombproof ones.
