    main bearing problem

Well I ran in a problem when It was time to put the crank on. The crank would not sit in the thrust bearing, checked if I got the right bearing they are clevite 77 and the size is good .10

took the crank off and tried the upper and lower part of the bearing by hand directly on the crank and nop they are to wide ?? they wont fit in between.. what can I do?

looks like I got the wrong one but I double checked the numbers on clevite website

You are trying them in the center journal (#3), not the rear like a Chevy, right?

the thrust bearing doesnt go in the rear main. It goes in #3 or the center one. they are different than the chevy.
