    now its motor time 360 cj5

    any suggestions for 360 rebuild kits ? are the ebay deals ok? this is a lowbuck rebuild 040 cast pistons stock crank and rods how much will the stock bridged rocker setup take as far as lift is there any thing I should watch out for besides the distributor gear issue does any body offer single groove water pump crank pulley's?????????? thanks I have pics on photo bucket of the cj5 which is now back on its wheels "djaponi3"

    i would get a kit from a reputable source. go to your local parts counter and see what a clevite kit costs or ask about online vendors.

    About the best prices I've seen for master engine kits are here:

    www.northernautoparts.com

    I've never used them, but they seem to use brand name parts.

    As far as stock bridges, they will handle about a .500" lift max. At about the same time, you'll have to start checking coil bind on the valve springs and spring retainer to valve seal clearance.

    I've never seen a single groove water pump pulley. You need at least 2 grooves if you run PS, almost a necessity with a lifted, big tired Jeep.

    p.s. no power steering

    not planning on using power steering on this rig tires are 31X10.515 I am pretty much used to the manual steering still would like to find single groove pulleys thanks again for the info

    We can do a single pulley for the water and crank for about $200 if you cant find anything else.
