    360 rods

is there anything I should be careful on reusing my stock 360 rods not looking to make any more than 360 to 400 hp and wont be spinning anything over 6000 rpm I see some deals on forged units for 209 a set with arp bolts? but I am also not rich so preferance would be old rods can I reuse old bolts or is this penny wise and pound fullish

Stock rods are plenty strong for 400 HP. You could add ARP bolts and have the big ends resized. I had a set of stock rods (same size) in a 304 that I had cleaned and shot peened that I regularly spun to 6500 RPM.
